Handwoven in Northern India from a blend of New Zealand wool, the Basket Rug Collection explores how nuance can emerge from quiet complexity. The name refers to the simple basket weave structure, a humble yet utilitarian design.
Up close, flecks of colour surface: ultramarine, cadmium red, chrome yellow, subtle in distribution but vivid in detail, like sediment in stone. These tonal shifts animate the wool, giving each rug a sense of quiet depth. While the palette remains grounded in a neutral range, it’s this complexity that keeps it from receding entirely.
The collection is offered in two tones:
Truffle: a dark, earthy brown threaded with accents of blue, red, and yellow.
Shell: a soft, warm neutral with shared flecking.
