Mjölk TAMBOUR CABINET 2020
Constructed of solid oak or walnut, the cabinet features sliding tambour doors which wrap entirely around the back. A gap between the doors and frame allows one to see straight through, appreciating the sliding doors as a tectonic and mechanical phenomenon delaminated from the cabinet’s structure — the radius of their curve as it rounds the corner; their tactile and auditory experience. Hand-made in Toronto.
