Developed in counter and bar seating heights for the EQ3 Assembly capsule collection. The Tripod Stool is an exercise in reduction and ergonomics. Like any surface meant for seating, the necessity of comfort is of the highest importance. A stool that can satisfy bar height and counter height seating levels tries to achieve comfort from a mid, to full standing height — the seat and foot step help achieve this gesture in a state of relaxation. The stripped down form lends itself to a purely functional interaction, the structure of the stool itself has been reduced to only its necessary components — seat, foot stand, and three legs for stability.
